These new 2.4 packages aren't really installers but a bundle of all the resources you need to upgrade or install LAMS 2.4 from scratch.

Upgrade from previous versions

Version 2.3.5 is a patch upgrade from 2.3.4.
If you want to update to 2.3.5 from a previous release, make sure you are currently running LAMS 2.3.4 already. If you are running a version prior to LAMS 2.3.4, then download the appropriate patch(es) and install them.

In order to run this upgrader you must have LAMS2.0.3 or LAMS2.0.4 installed. We've made a small improvement to the upgrader we originally released on 20 June 2008. Nothing in LAMS has changed - just a small tweak to the installer.

LAMS 2.0.4

We initially did a 2.0.3 installer but found a problem with the Windows installer before it was announced. To try to make life simpler, we have dropped the 2.0.3 installer and gone straight to 2.0.4 for Unix, Linux and Macintosh.

If you have installed 2.0.3 then continue running 2.0.3. The 2.1 upgrader will support upgrading from 2.0.3 and 2.0.4. There is no difference between 2.0.4 on Unix/Linux/Mac except for the version numbers.
