flvPlayer Plugin for FCKEditor in LAMS

Deprecated feature!

Note that this feature is not longer available since LAMSv2.3.

There's no better media alternatives like Kaltura and MoviePlayer.

In LAMS v2.3 and above, the FCKEditor has been updated, and now comes with it's own Media Player. Click here for more details.

I played a round with it, i'm not so good at javascript nor i know about FCK editors internals, but I managed to make those movies editable or it seems to work for me and my FF, Opera and MSIE

Patch can be found at: (Updated patch with same filename. This contains smarter object handling and fixed checkbox values. Update2: Better match regexp. Update3: MSIE7 fix and some changes to look)

If you are developing this FCKeditor plugin more I would like to see that editing possibility in the future versions (and with smarter code that mine(smile) .

I wondered if you might be able to help me.

I am working on a project for Southampton University which uses this plugin (although it is not a LAMS project).  We have a problem.  We cannot make the player show in Internet Explorer.  It is fine in FF etc but in IE, it asks us to download the adobe flash player even though we already have.  Have you had this problem?? If so how did you overcome it?  If you didn't have this problem, do you know what might be causing the problem?

    thank you for your time
